Mask of Morality

Sometimes something just doesn't sit well with me and I need to say it out loud to get it off my chest - but more than that I want others to know, that I KNOW. Does that make sense?

So, what is it that I know and I want you to know that I know? Well...it goes like this. Healers. Energy workers. Light workers. Therapists. Counsellors. blah blah blah. There are so many out there calling themselves different things.

Well, my issue is that there are so many who are NOT called to do any thing like they are doing (the healing work) and should in no way shape or form be involved in the field. This is false. It is no different than living a lie. However, what is worse is that they are taking so many people into the lie with them!

There are people on this planet who job/calling/destiny/purpose it is to work with others in a healing capacity. However, it is not anything near the number that are currently in the business.

So what is wrong with this picture? If you are called to be a healer, it will actually form a strand in your DNA and your life will lead you on to that path, as if you cannot get away from it. The path is inward, not outward.

So, that's a lot of people you might be thinking? Not really. That path will also lead you to perfect health, to a place where you must take exquisite care of your body, mind and soul through food, exercise and healthy lifestyle.

You cannot heal if you are not healing yourself. You cannot heal yourself if you ignore the body, the mind or the soul. It simply does not work that way.

Take off your mask, we know who you are.

Take Care of Yourself

I remember the days when I used to actually believe that I had a pretty ok diet - and perhaps by some standards I did. I ate reasonably well most of the time, I often heard people say a little bit of everything in moderation is the key.

However, it is simply not the key or the right way to health, wellness and certainly not the way to eat if you are a practitioner of anything.

When I ate a little bit of everything I wasn't healthy. I did not feel quite right, I didn't necessarily feel 'wrong', but I knew that I wasn't where I might be either. Eating a bit of everything omits one very important principle that can be applied to our food, water and general lifestyle - a little bit of poison is still poison, a little bit of harm is still dangerous and I do not know very many people who can stop at a little bit of anything.

There are many foods on the supermarket shelves that are little more than rubbish and no longer resemble nutrition, how they end up on our plates is entirely up to us. Or is it? Are we being bullied, pushed, coerced and targeted by clever marketing schemes to purchase things that we would not ordinarily buy?

And how did we get that way? And who is telling us that a little bit of poison is perfectly ok? Perhaps we need to look at all the sources of these little toxins (in the water, in the food, in the air, in soil etc) and start tracing them back to origin.

A large amount of it can lead us back to the 'experts' on food who are telling us to eat everything in moderation!

Taking care of yourself in part means to really think about what you are eating, choosing to exercise and working at being healthy. If you were to remove the top 3 most toxic things from your life (diet etc) what would they be?

You are free to Go

This has been a strange month with wild weather, global change underfoot and hopefully happier times on their way for us all. I was reminded of something early today as I was out walking the dogs around the yard- one of our dogs is a wanderer so she gets a heavy horse lead hooked on to her while the other dog stays close by and walks with us.

The dog with the horse lead is not held onto by us, the lead which is very long only serves to slow her down, giving us time to run after her when necessary so that we can keep her out of harms way. No street sense whatsoever! Anyway. We went for our ramble around the place and then I came back to the house.

I took the lead off of her and went to check on something for a minute, then turned around to see that both dogs were still sitting there in the same place. I realised that she did not know that the leash had been removed and she was free to roam a tiny bit before we headed in.

Then it hit me - this is exactly how so many of us live our lives. We have been hemmed in, leashed and tied on to something that serves to hold us in one place. We are so used to being only able to move around in the same circles, on a 4 foot length of rope and this has been our true experience of the lives we are living.

Tied up, dragging something heavy, held onto and pulled back.

Then when the moment arrives that we find ourselves free to move further, create new circles and roam different paths - how many of us have no idea that we are free to do so?

Perhaps it's time to take a few moments and listen to your body - either you are working at getting your freedom or you are ignoring the fact that you already have it.

It's that time of year again!

So, here we are in the middle of Bee season, the time of year that bees need to make a head start in their honey making. This is vital to the survival of these delicate species - sunny weather, a lot less rain, warm enough and plenty of flowers, trees and plants to forage for food.

One thing that I have noticed a lot more of is that we are putting in gardens in our backyards as well as creating allotments and other green spaces. If you would not ordinarily plant herbs, do it this year - for the bees. You will also gain benefits from a crop of fresh herbs growing close by as well.

Many herbs are a great source of vitamins and minerals and can be added to your diet easily in salads and raw foods as well as cooking (soups and stews are great). When you place them strategically around the garden in with other plants and vegetables they will act as natural repellents to other pests that might eat your plants.

Attracting bees to your garden is a pleasure - just listen to the humm and buzz of life as they go about their work. Work that is vital, endless and necessary to the health of our planet.

Recently it has been confirmed that some of the loss of bees (and perhaps colony collapse disorder) can be attributed to a class of insecticides used on crops. These are collectively known as neonicotinoid insecticides and are from the nicotine chemical known to act on the nervous system of insects.

If what we know about the world around us linked to the world inside of us  - what on earth are these chemicals doing to us and our nervous systems? The bees are dying inside and out. Everything is important and perhaps none more important for humans than honey bees.

There appears to be little to no incentive for the Big Food producers to stop using these deadly chemicals and we are doing little to push them in that direction. It seems that everyone dances to the tune of Big Seeds and Big Chemicals (there is even a rumour that they have bought up the research firm looking into this link with bees).

Like the line from Bee Movie -' bees don't smoke' - so stop using these tobacco poisons, you are killing us all!

Food Revolution - say it again!!

I posted this earlier, but want to post it again as people are led to feel that they are powerless to make fundamental changes to their diets. You are not powerless and you can make any change you want- with healthy results!

Food Revolution

For those of us who are watching and supporting the many revolutions that are taking place around the planet but are unable to physically be there- there is so much else that can be done. And perhaps even more important work that must be done to start to break down these monopolies who control our money, economies, food, water, media, and ultimately our minds.

We see it often during some of these protests, ‘access to better health care’ written on placards and it has left me feeling perplexed. There are some basic tennents that every human living on this planet needs to get back to- and the fundamental one would be food. How to feed ourselves so that the body and mind is well nourished and in a healthy state has been eroded in less then several generations. We have been duped into thinking that we actually ‘need’ health care- what we need is self care in the form of fresh whole food and clean water.

Control of the people doesn’t stop with these Big Food, Big Agri, Big Seed and Big Market corporations either! Perhaps it only begins there, because control of the people spills over into Big Pharma, Big Gov and Big Bank. So, each of these mega corporations has a stake in how well you feed yourself and the general health of your body. This is a fact because ‘they’ have an insatiable desire to control and you cannot be controlled if and when you are eating, drinking and living in a state of natural health.

In a short period of time, you will rebuild your mind (and body) and start to think for yourself. It is so simple- all you need is real food, that is clean, fresh and simply prepared.

All this food is out there- there is NO food crisis in terms of supply, there is only a crisis in methods of marketing mass hysteria to get you to believe that the crap on the shelves in the Big Supermarket has any thing to do with food. If you walk into any modern shop you will see that only about 5-10% of the available food is fresh, unadulterated, and next to nothing is unpackaged!

In order to get your body on the road to a better way of being, you must change the food that you are eating and the water you are drinking. And for some that will mean a fundamental shift in thinking and perhaps a move out to the country where you can access well or spring water and grow a garden.

You best defence against the systems that need to control you and for you to cooperate with them, is your health- clean healthy body and clear mind. We are conformists as long as we eat what is put before us and spend our days in a spaced out out haze because this food clogs up our internal processes and keeps us down.

Feeding yourself packaged, drugged up and chemical laced ‘food’ has your body tissues toxic and your mind unable to think clearly. Of course this also gives rise to fear, depression, irritable bowel type issues, and a down regulated immune response (or call it passivity) which proceeds on to disease and dysfunction. Of course, this then requires treatment in the form of more packages of drugs and chemicals and more fear!

Can’t you see the pattern here? Eat their food, drink their water, spend your life wandering through life and not thinking beyond what the box tells you, become unwell and end your days eating tablets that only add to the misery. Is this what we have come to? Or is this what has been made of us through the extensive use of mind control, mass marketing, economic debt and poor food/water?

Today you can ask, So where to start? If you want to join a revolution, start here- with you and your family. Pick the three most toxic items in your diet (life?) and remove them. It is that simple. For some it will be sugar, caffeine, alcohol- toxins which slow down the liver and wreak havoc with our immune function. For others it will be a food that you eat far too much of- packaged cereal, take aways, chocolate.

I know that some may be thinking- well how do I live without this or that? It can’t be all that bad- no? We have been so manipulated into thinking that just because something is on the shelf in a supermarket 365 days a year that it should be consumed as such. Never before have we had access to sugar, caffeine, alcohol, packaged foods, chocolate, boxes of processed stuff- all the time.

Your body is designed to eat fresh, whole veggies, fruits, some grains, some fish, little meat and clean water. Anything else is a stress on the digestion and clogs up the nutrient pathways. And we havn’t even gotten to detoxification and the function of the rest of the body!

Choose 3 ways that you can change and start to implement them today- you will feel better tomorrow and every day that follows as you wean yourself off of an entire system that has been cleverly designed to manage the people. Refuse to be controlled, don’t conform, and do not under any circumstances eat their food or drink their water.

Join the Revolution- we shall fight, we will win!

Food Revolution- So Where Do I Start?

You can start in several different ways- and it doesn’t have to be difficult to begin making changes to your diet and lifestyle. So perhaps a can-do attitude is the first approach and a bit of determination.

Shop at markets
Stay out of big supermarkets
Double your vegetable intake
Reduce all ‘drug’ like foods
Go organic where possible
Eat whole foods
Exercise
Ask questions
Use herbs
Get yourself off of medication

I don't usually comment on these things, but....

This time, I can't help myself! LOL

I just read a really negative article/blog/review of the 5 worst things 'they' don't tell you about childbirth. So, I had to come back and say something here, having been on both sides of this scene, how could I not say something.

According to this person's point of view the 5 worst things about childbirth (that no one mentions) are:

1. The cost
2. Placenta
3. Baby's head shape
4. episiotomy
5. fecal matter (baby poo, during birth etc)

Now, I don't remember what order they were in, but that is the gist of the topic. So, I'll deal with them in that order and have my say!

1. the cost - you are not sick, you are having a family, if you don't 'buy' into the lunacy of thinking that you need every gimmick out there, you actually need very little. And, have a home birth, no hospital fees at all. This is a NATURAL process, not a medical event.

2. what's so scary about a placenta? I laughed as I read this persons point of view (do they know what their steak looks like before it is trimmed and cut?) Of course, the placenta that was linked to looked as if it had been yanked out of some poor woman... The placenta with my daughter looked nothing like that. There was no congealed blood, it was not blue and dripping blood like a murder scene. It was clean, white and because we had waited for the cord to empty, free of blood. It looked like an elegant tree.

3. My baby's heads were perfect, and did not look like an alien. I have a feeling the one they showed there might have been forceps or Ventouse suction, because that appeared to be a little on the over the top side. And besides, the head is meant to mould to be squeezed out and down the birth canal.

4. I have read in several places that the cutting is usually done to aid the doctor in 'assisting' in the birth. And that if a woman tears a bit, this actually heals better as it is natural. Nuf said.

5. Pooing on the table with everyone around you in the room. Yeah, another reason to have a home birth and listen to your body - then at least the mom is in control of who is around her, and if you follow a good diet, your bowels might just clear out before labour...stranger things have happened. And who is afraid of baby poo? Wimps.

So, look at all the bad news...

Hey, its only 3 weeks or so until Christmas, the season of good cheer and the one that many of us look forward to ALL year. So what's with the deluge of BAD, downer news that is coming across the air waves?

Don't know what I am talking about? Go back over to any news page and re-read the headlines - there will be at least 3 out of 4 negative announcements of one sort or another. And many of them with less than positive predictions about this coming Christmas season!

I just signed out of my email which brings me to a home page with news headlines on it - so I couldn't help read what they are on about today. The first headline stated that there will be less spending this Christmas, of course with the entire economy in its still depressed state. Another headline was then talking about how no one is buying houses, so the rents must go up! (what kind of logic that is, I'll never know).

So, what to do with all of this 'recessionary' fear spreading and general media dysfunction? Try to ignore it as best we can and get on with it? Yet it does have some effect on us, we are human after all (well most of us are anyway).

Perhaps the best thing to do in this situation, is to intend to enjoy and celebrate and have a great Christmas, in spite of all the nay sayers. Of course, this does not mean to go and spend a load of money on things you don't need or want.

But, it might mean to feed yourself well, to rest, spend time with people you really want to be with and to turn off the bloody news!
