Workshops, Market Stall, Nature & Me

We are approaching the harvest time of year, the special gifts of nature are being presented for those of us willing to wander into streams, trudge through hedgerows, follow the honey bee trail and listen to the hum of magic on the wind.

The only thing asked of us is to be ourselves.

This has become my motto over the years, if I can only get back to myself, I will find who I have always been, waiting for me there.

Nature knows the way, shares her secrets and guides those who are pure of heart.

❤️

If you can, come out for one of my workshops, classes or talks over the next little while. Or get one of my books, these books are very special and important. Stop by my market stall for a browse and a chat, ask me a question. I will try to answer from my heart and the wisdom nature has been teaching me.

We are often walking this journey by ourselves, but we are not alone.

An Uncommon Light

Such an exciting year to be on this planet! We are waking up - of course, along with that comes looking at the world with those new eyes, clearer head and an unfurling spirit. Each one of these celestial events has been a trigger for the earth and for us - it's time to step forward into a new this uncommon light.

Last week was another powerful event that is only now re-forming through earth time and space, to ultimately become solid matter. If you could re-create your life - what would it be? Well, perhaps - this is your chance! :)

Soul Re-covery on the Spiritual Path

Perhaps the single biggest thing that holds us back in life is the family that raised us. I would not refer to them as our family of origin because as many of you walking the spiritual path are finding out, an unsupportive and unloving family are not likely to be connected to you on a soul level.

Probably the easiest way to describe this is that we have been mixed up on an energetic level – some of us have been enslaved, adopted out, lost and otherwise taken in by strangers at various times during our lives here on this planet.

When we come back then into another lifetime, energetic ties have been established and work must be done to break free of them. That is why many of us are finding we are pulling away from childhood associations – once the patterns resolve.

Mainly because there are so many of us determined to work on our own ‘stuff’ this time around!

This makes for an interesting time of it during this ‘awakening’ on the earth right now, mostly because part of rising consciousness is sorting ourselves out. And certainly finally understanding who and what we are and what we have come here to do; is all a part of that path.

Sifting through our past lives, present circumstances and hopeful future, are what walking a spiritual path should entail. Of course it takes in much more ground than that, but getting back to your point of origin (first lifetime) is a priority.

Why is that so? To put this clearly and succinctly – when each of us arrived here on this planet to take up residence and work through our life cycle – we came here intact.

That means we had a soul, an essence, a family of origin, fully functioning DNA, a spiritual map and a compass. We were in working order and operational as divine beings on the path.

Many things have taken place over the several lifetimes since – but perhaps the most significant of these is how our souls have been shattered, broken and parts of it lost in the melee. With the resulting disconnect and then not remembering our pasts and where we came from.

Right now this is where we are finding our interests and minds drawn – to deeper more pressing questions of who we are and what purpose must this lifetime serve here at this time.

In order to answer these questions, missing, lost and forgotten pieces of ourselves must be found and integrated with the whole. This is the work of spirit – a regeneration of profound importance.

And part of our spiritual re-covery.

Spiritual Detox Part 2

This subject may never be finished, there is still much that needs to be said and as I mentioned before it has been mulling around my mind for such a long time, this entire theme of toxicity of spirit. There are deeper issues here that are affecting each one of us who are walking this path, while some of them are making us sick.

Two of which are spiritual jealousy and spiritual competitiveness - each of these in turn probably arrive together and derive from similar sources. However, both are equally nasty and damaging (to the extreme) of the energy field creating large rips or tears especially along the back of the body.

I would go so far as to say that if to be envious of someone else can be likened to sending dark magic their way, to be resentful and bitter regarding someone's spirituality can be compared to embedding a curse deep within their energy field which festers away until recognized and removed.

One of the main problems here is that even though we may know a darkness is carried or buried in the field, most people are unaware of how to remove or disassemble it. And indeed it takes some doing - this is not as simple as drinking a herbal remedy (although herbs can play a large role) nor can it be shifted by someone else.

This is what I want to address here mainly, far more then anything else on your spiritual journey, is that you must come to rely upon yourself for your own healing, body care and take full responsibility for all that you are and want to become.

No one other than you can do this on your behalf, in the exact same way that no one else can fix you, shift you or walk your path. They may be able to point you in the right direction, however, when it comes down to the actual physical work of your spirit - be it removal of a curse or aligning with higher consciousness, your body already knows how to do this, any 'assistance' might cause more harm then good.

So how does this relate back to spiritual competitiveness and jealousy - quite simple really, there are those out there who are ready to step into action the moment you start to believe you can't do this on your own. They might offer help and guidance by way of most often bizarre rituals involving the soul which are said to help you with your journey in some way.

To be honest with you, if someone starts mentioning working on another person's soul, dreams, life force, or anything deeper then the immediate energy field, I would run the other way. There is not one of us on the planet with permission to tamper so deeply with another person.

Once such a person has been granted access to your inner blueprint this is dangerous ground - in my experience there are those who want what they see and will then stop at nothing to take it. They have placed themselves into positions of power where access to other people is easy and anyone perceived as a threat can be dealt with severely.

I know, this is not the 'love and light' subject normally brought up during discussions on higher consciousness - however, these things are real, they are happening and even though this is unpleasant, it still must be talked about.

With this blog in particular, my promise has always been to tell it like it is and to call out the truth of each and every situation that we may find ourselves in. That is what I have been writing about for quite some time in my books and now, if you are reading this and wondering why, perhaps it is time to ask yourself about your own level of protection.

Your spirit or soul is the most precious commodity you own, guard it with your life.

Getting Out of Our Own Way

These past few days during my cleanse I have been focused on removing obstacles, blocks, resistance and other negative energy that has been holding me back. So, with this theme in mind I have been chipping away at some of the more obvious areas where I have been feeling stuck.

Of course the entire point of doing any cleanse of this sort, what I would call a 'spiritual detox' is to get at the bottom of whatever these underlying patterns are buried deep in my soul. I once heard it said that dysfunction of the spirit is far more serious then any other disorder of the body. This part of us can be damaged seemingly beyond repair and it is a delicate place to encourage healing.

In fact many of us go through our entire lives feeling hurt, damaged, weary or worse, not feeling at all - because the heart, the door that leads to spirit has been firmly closed in face of pain and adversity. Is it any wonder that the number one disorder and most modern diseases centre around the heart?

Just what is it that drives us out of our 'homes' and takes us so very far away from the centre of our being, enough to cause a slow and painful inflammation that ultimately develops from disconnection? Perhaps there is no one reason but many forming a web that contains us and disables our ability to find our way back to our deepest selves.

We have all heard the saying 'you can't go home again' and I fully understand this on one level. Once you leave the place of your childhood, you will change and step into bigger shoes, not wanting to play the same roles. To me then, this was not our home, but a temporary living arrangement in someone else's house.

You must seek out a place for yourself, creating it out of the person you want to be and then put your heart and soul into such a project. Yet not many people can achieve this or even realize that this is what they are seeking in their lives.

A block in the heart is an emptiness, a hole that cannot be filled though many of us try with excess food, drink, drugs and other addictions. If you are brave and want to continue on your spiritual journey, this hole will have to be repaired one way or another. Of course, there are many bonuses to be found in the healing of the heart, and you will watch your life come back together in new ways.

Perhaps the best thing we can do once we are at this point is to make sure that we are not equally part of the problem here, hanging on to our familiar blocks and obstacles.

It is time to let go and move onwards and upwards.

Suffering, Crime and Punishment

What exactly does suffering have to do with us? As therapists, healers, energy workers or even as human beings? And why would we think that this suffering leads us any where but to more negativity - just whose concept is this?

When I look up the definition of suffering - I come across something very interesting; it is described as pain in a broad sense but more importantly fear, unpleasantness and aversion with the perception of harm being done to the individual. This is far more serious stuff than an association with things being a little difficult for us simply because we chose a tougher path.

What if I was to throw a thought out there into space - that our suffering increases because of these choices that we are making, yes, however they are increasing because someone or something wants us punished as a result of making them. The higher levels of spirituality have been considered to be the exclusive domain of only a chosen few, usually men for the past two thousand years or so.

I have long said that if you are not using it, someone else is using it for you. This same energetic rule applies here for higher consciousness, the years that we have spent in the lower realms while pushed out of our higher self have allowed open access to others up to no good. It appears to me as if they then set up some internal 'trap' to send us into a punishment pattern once we attempted to regain entry into our private spiritual sphere.

So there you have it. If you are currently suffering or feeling as if you are being punished for making the choices that you have made and thinking in new ways about your life and dreams, then this is likely an energetic pattern that has been turned on by your presence in this space.

A very good reason to plan a detox or 10 day Master Cleanse very soon!

Have a great day,

Summer Solstice

Today is the longest day of the year, mid summer, the summer solstice and a new moon - quite a powerful line-up as usual for this season. Traditionally fires would be lit, parties and festivals (in Scandinavia they still celebrate with a national holiday) held and general festivities all around. Being in touch with the changing seasons is actually quite important and unfortunately nearly forgotten.

The inside of your body, especially the gut and digestive tract undergoes similar or the same yearly alterations as the seasons move on. It can grow thinner during the fall and winter and thicker with higher levels of organisms during spring and summer. All of nature is and should be reflected back from the inside out.

When this is not the case, we run into a host of problems not only with our digestion, but with health and life overall. To lose touch with nature and her wonders is to distance ourselves from our essence and indeed does lead to illness and depression.

There are many ways to take steps towards getting back in touch with your body, mind and spirit - some of the most basic ones being removing sugar, alcohol, caffeine and other drugs that over stimulate the adrenal glands and deplete the body's nutrient resources. Other ways might be to get outside and walk with purpose - listen, smell, watch and allow nature to surround your senses taking her into you.

You are not the separate being that you feel to be - you are one with the earth. Isn't it time to get back into your wonderful body, find yourself and take back your inner wisdom and power?

Yesterday in the herb garden my daughter was giving me a lesson on talking to the plants - she  informed me that if I wanted to talk to them, I had to lean over, close my eyes and listen. It was that simple.

And all of life is that simple. Happy Mid Summer!

Day 10 - We Did It!

Here we are, at Day 10 - just 24 hours to go until tomorrow morning when we begin to transition our diets back to normal. I just did my last salt water flush, I drank my last senna tea yesterday evening so my system feels squeaky clean and renewed.

I am looking forward to some food again - but..... I would say in comparison to any other cleanses or fasts that I have done, this was by far the easiest. It might be that I am just getting used to it but I don't think so. As I know many other people who find it extremely difficult to complete subsequent cleanses after the first one, it is quite a challenge to do these again and again several times a year. No, I think that this is different. I am different, my level of discipline has improved along with my ability to focus and concentrate on achieving a goal.

And that I would put down to doing these cleanses and following an Intermittent Fasting lifestyle. So, it comes full circle here; the more I do this (2-4 times a year) the easier it has become because I am less toxic, more disciplined, more grounded and certain about what I am trying to achieve.

The one key word that I have mentioned here so far is discipline. For most of my life that was a nasty negative word which meant fear, harm, worry, stress and pain. Of course it was always associated with keeping us in line as children and not anything near what it is meant to be about - which is following a set of guidelines to strengthen/improve/heal your body, mind and spirit.

Oh, how far we have come from the truth into dark and murky waters that do not teach children anything about life, health, living, coping and achievement in the world we have created for ourselves. There are gentler ways to raise children, there are gentler ways to heal and support ourselves - finding them and applying them is key to a healthy body, a strong mind and a powerful spirit.

In the past I would have done nearly anything to lose excess weight, I would have given anything to feel and be well when I had cancer, I would have taken anything years ago to make me 'better'. When all along it is ends up being something so very simple, mundane and as ordinary as clean water and herbs that grow in the fields and I am well and truly in glowing health and at a healthy weight that has been easy to maintain.

My stats for this week - I started at 10 stone 2 lbs, I am now 9 stone 6 lbs - total loss of 10 pounds so far. I expect a couple more pounds will come off during this next few days as well then it will even out as some water weight is gained back. I did not do this to lose weight, however, as toxins are stored in the fat this is part of the overall process to loosen up the debris.

Yesterday I had a slight headache and knew that I was in the last big detox cycle before this MC was finished, I was tired last night, and there were times I did not feel grounded and needed to go outside and walk around. However it was a busy day for me with lots going on so that might have had something to do with it. My shoulder is better, my cold is better, and I am certain that I have learned a few more things about myself.

I will keep writing this blog - if you would like to know how I am doing, keep checking back here to read about my adventures in nutrition, fasting, cleanses and abundant health. See you tomorrow for transition!

Have a wonderful day,

April
