Creating the Life You Were Born to Live

Your life is created by the thoughts of both yourself & others around you – Yes!! It is so

How many of us have read, and pondered over these new-age books that inform us our thinking, our thoughts and the stuff that goes around and around in our minds is what makes up our reality? 

Of course it does. We attract to us what we are focused on.

So, we spend countless minutes, hours and days attempting to shift our thinking onto higher ground. Making every effort to get our thoughts from the dark and negative into the light and positive.

Form a new perspective and the rest will follow. Create a clear stream of consciousness and life will magically turn around – health, money, people and opportunities will simply knock on the door.

Except when it doesn’t.

Oh, we may have some times, spaces and break throughs of limited success with this type of exercise. Just like any other thing we try out along our journey – in a small way if can work for some of us, some of the time.

Then we hit a wall. Our thinking goes back to its’ old distorted patterns (that never even seem to belong to us, funny that) and we are the walking wounded soldiers of mis-fortune once again.

Trying to create that big, colourful, wonderful life from the ground is hard work!

Is there then something wrong with us? Are we doing it all wrong? Am I broken, unfixable, pulled low with these ridiculous thoughts (that I never seem to know where they come from) floating around in my head?

Wellllll…….we are also energetic beings. And being energetic beings, made up from star-dust of the Universe, we pick up things, spiritual junk, the very stuff that life is made out of.

We are constantly interacting with, bumping into and exchanging energy with absolutely every living and non living thing there is. Some more than others.

The next time you wish to use your thoughts to create, guide, shape and otherwise manage some aspect of your life, begin with clearing your energy field of people, things, situations etc. that pull you down.

Only then will you start to have absolute success in pulling yourself up! Clean up that space around you - and clear your mind of un-necessary thoughts, fears, worries and other time wasting patterns by releasing the energy that holds you down.

On Being A Medical Intuitive.....

April Danann –  A few comments 'On Being a Medical Intuitive'

Even after all of this time I still have to stop, take a deep breath and collect my thoughts whenever someone asks me what it’s like to be a Medical Intuitive or indeed even what an intuitive does or how I work.

But it has also come to my attention time and again, how – there is little or nothing about the fact that I am a Medical Intuitive on my market stall – perhaps there is only the results of what I do…..I create each of my products by hand, in tiny batches by following and carefully ‘listening’ to my intuition.

So, I thought I would put something down in words to help me sort this all out! LOL

Being an intuitive means that I have the ability to listen, to anything and  everything living (and dead, but that’s another post), but more specifically, listening to what our bodies are 'communicating' from systems, organs, tissues and cells; when I choose to tune in, and sometimes even when I don’t!

Being an intuitive for me is exactly like picking up on a specific frequency and then being able to understand exactly what is being said. (It's a little like a radio might work) And often hearing what is not being said or indeed what needs to be expressed and is not (does that make sense?).

However, when I do a reading I also hear, see, smell, taste, read and understand what a body is ‘saying’  forming spiritual, emotional and energetic components too. This can then all be put together into a formal report – the current state of the body or…..

What your body would like you to know right now. It comes together very easily for me because I have been aware of this ability since I was 3 years old (at least that's as far back as I can remember) and working professionally with it since I was 17. 

And I love what I do. It's because I am Intuitive I have taken my studies into the science of microbiology, food, nutrition and exercise - each of these are then combined into a base of knowledge I can draw upon with each reading I do. 

As I say on my card……

‘Your body’s voice is not loud, aggressive or pushy. It is gentle, subtle and soft like a whisper washing over you. It feels as if it has come up from somewhere very deep and has been pushed out into the spaces around you, for you to hear. Like a voice calling from very far away, it has an echo – this voice will persist, until you listen’.

Universal Story - An Epic Moment

There is an uncommon hue of light in the sky this morning – telling us we are still in the middle of this latest storm – I spent last night alternating between waking to the sound of wind and rain on the windows while the roof tiles rattled….and then dreaming of walking along a dark road with only lightening to show me the way ahead.

These are ‘uncertain times’ is what I would think I should say right now in this narrative, especially on a day such as this, however, that is not how I am feeling at all. It appears as if the universe, the heavens and the earth are in complete agreement and each dimension in its turn has ramped up the volume.

To make some noise.

Here in Ireland over these past few weeks we have been witness to an epic battle of heavenly wills. One bouncing off of the other as they lash out and fight for the higher position – defender of the weak, righteous and the good – but only one victor will prevail. 

In all of the old stories it was always the triumph of good over evil, yet, to my mind, evil has reined for ever so long. Or in this case, ‘rained’ down its darkness touching everything in its path with the smell of something rotten. 

Of course, it’s not all bad, we are here, aren’t we? And so many of us wake each morning with hope renewed. Pressing on.

So, here we find ourselves, in the midst of something, well, bigger then the sum of us all – or perhaps something that completes the equation of the sum of us all….a Universal x at the end of the y (why or why not?).

I don’t know about you – but with all of this energy flying around, the wind, rain, darkness and fluctuating power grid – I can sense the need for change. And not just any ordinary shift either, perhaps this is it – the time of the greatest ‘stand up and be counted’ kind of thing that we’ve only ever read about in stories.

Makes me wonder if the story has nearly caught up with the tellers…..perhaps we are finally living this epic tale in real time and not chapter by chapter out of an ancient history book in the mind’s eye of some god. 

Perhaps history is really only ever about telling the future….the stories are there to guide us with knowledge of the past – this is what might happen when you get to this place in the path.

An epic moment, along a long and winding path….
