Strengthening Your Energy Field – From the Inside

Everything that takes place in and around your body (and life) is recorded, pre-determined and part of some larger overall pattern. This is not said lightly either, because a lot is taking place constantly that most people are not even aware of.

Your body generates an electromagnetic field in and around each and every cell in your body. It does this from the inner workings of your cells and metabolic processes which act like miniature batteries. This joins together to form a larger force field with central points as well as energy centres around the body.

While it is not a complex process, some basic things might need to be understood on how it all works together. For instance, your energy field is incorporated into your physical body systems and functions in the exact same way.

Therefore, tt can be harmed, torn, broken and damaged by the food you eat, the situations you are exposed to as well as toxins such as electromagnetic radiation from cell phones. Just think back to an encounter with a negative person and how hard it was to rid yourself of the toxic energy you picked up.

In lots of ways the energy field is what gives you a measureable form of power, strength and resilience as you navigate your way through life. But it also provides a buffer zone around you and sets up a basic area of resistance as well. This is important for security, protection and general well-being, not to mention your health.

To have a functioning energy field in the first place, you need to be healthy and this means to take care of your body. There are lots of people walking around in the world with damaged, broken, missing and otherwise unhealthy energy fields who have no idea how to care for this part of their anatomy (or re-grow it if needs be).

Some of the recommendations I would give to those wondering about their energy fields, would be to start at the beginning….it all comes down to the food you eat, the water you drink and what sorts of toxins you are exposed to. And that includes toxic people spreading around dark energy.

Other ways to heal and strengthen your energy field would be to use the following techniques and foods on a regular basis;
  • Closing the Energy Leaks© or Closing Windows
  • Herbs such as dandelion, nettle and horsetail
  • Foods that are unprocessed and of a high vibration, homemade & home grown
  • Water that is unprocessed, directly from the ground
  • Exercise – any form of movement is beneficial but especially Yoga, dance
  • Nature in all it’s splendour is a healing force

Nothing here is difficult or hard to obtain – these are simple ways to minimize damage to your body on an energetic basis while you strengthen your body functions and systems.

When considering the health of your body, don’t neglect the workings of your energy field. A strong energy field ensures a strong body – you cannot have one without the other.

Wait A Minute, This is My Blog!

I have been deliberating on several posts I wanted to write for one of my blogs and have hesitated for quite some time on more then a couple of them. I kept thinking they were not quite suitable for this blog - some form of flawed thinking has set in and I have just uncovered a pattern!

One of those posts is about homeschooling - for those who know me or anything about me - we are homeschoolers, right from the beginning that was the goal and we have for the most part stuck with it. Both our children are learning at home at the kitchen table - and thriving because of it.

So, who better to comment on some aspects of home schooling then me, right? Why would I hold back? Believe me, I am wondering the same thing, because any other areas where I feel experienced, competent and knowledgable, I certainly do intend to put my thoughts out there.

This has been a lesson (there's that word!) for me - mainly because I am still shaking off the vestiges of my own lack of education but I am also seeing more of the ways it has held me back. One memory to surface for me this week was how I felt discouraged from day one in the school system...let me tell you about it first....

I am left handed (shock!) as well as an intuitive, smart enough, taller then most, and I have eyes that see right through to your soul - if you have one. My first day of school was not unpleasant, it was just that I knew I was entering a place where my needs would never be considered, let alone met.

Being who I was (sensitive, open, inquisitive) and perhaps a little shy about it all - this was a very sad day indeed. I don't remember if I had any expectations or what they might have been, but I do know the years in front of me were the most miserable of my entire life.

Homeschooling is all about me therefore and the lengths I am willing to go to, to ensure a decent, kind, gentle and real education for my children.

I don't want them to feel anything remotely similar to what I felt, to be signaled out because they might be vegetarian, or eat whole foods (I know, what kind of a mother would make her children eat vegetables and fruits). Or to know without a doubt that their essence is ebbing away with each minute spent in a soul destroying classroom, with a teacher who is tired, underpaid, unhealthy and fed up with her life. And far worse.

These are things I see, hear and witness myself from adults around me - never mind their children! Life can be cruel, children can be worse - but knowing these things, why would I proceed to send off my precious much longed for little ones for someone else to 'teach' them 'a lot of 'nothing' I personally do not value?

But, I digress. I really wanted to give you some pointers on homeschooling - so here goes!
  • It's all about the parents. Just like having kids, you get to re-live (or at least I hope we do) our childhoods, well homeschool is the same. We get to learn (finally) what's important, things that matter to us and make a difference in our own lives.

Since we started homeschool, we have taken up beekeeping, raising our own animals for food, growing a huge herb and vegetable garden, cob house building and cheese making courses. And, I know more about maths, chemistry (the stuff uni never taught me), writing, history and many other subjects because I am doing this every day, with them.
  • Time consuming, you might be led to believe? Learning anything takes next to no time at all with  children and anyone eager for knowledge and fun. All of life is an opportunity to learn, so everything and anything can be pulled in as a lesson. From cooking to building a bird house - measuring, pouring, types of wood, species of wildlife and so on can be explored, researched and discovered together.

  • You may be feeling resistance from family members or those on the outside - well, hopefully if you are old enough to have children, then you realize you have been making decisions for them since the moment of conception. Choosing to teach and learn at home is simply another decision along the way, that parents can make all on their own. What I am really saying here in a round about way is that it is none of anyone else's business, so to the naysayers - butt out.

  • Learning should be a gentle, easy process - an unfolding of information imparted through activity, fun, focus and experience. Facts and figures do not have to be shoved down anyone's throat - only to be regurgitated by rote. That's not learning, that's conformity through obedience (fear) and submission (dread and anxiety).

A successful homeschool experience then becomes about setting your life up around learning and not losing sight of the overall picture - a few elements help things progress and hold your interest;

- have a routine
- plan outings, activities, celebrations
- do a bit of everything (science, art, reading, writing, cooking, carpentry, gardening)
- don't forget exercise, physical activity is for life
- create a lifestyle (healthy living, farming, sustainability)
- follow your intuition - when they are ready to learn something new, you'll know

This is only a brief synopsis of my personal experience when it comes to homeschool - each family and person will have their own take on how to go about teaching, learning and making this a journey for everyone involved. The bottom line is to not be intimidated by others, if this is something you want to do, jump in, just start and all will come right.

An important element of overall lifelong health and satisfaction is a sense of safety and security in not only who you are, but to be free to develop your potential as a human being. Learning the things you need to learn at the right time,  appropriate pace and under gentle circumstances should all be a part of this.

10 Ways to Get Back in Your Body

For the most part not everyone knows what any of this work of the body, mind and spirit is all about. Just exactly what are the reasons behind thinking our thoughts and feeling the way we do about the world we live in?

Many of us are just naturally drawn to vibrations of higher consciousness, are seekers and have been asking the right questions for quite some time. These actions are the forces that pull us onto higher ground and often sustain us as we navigate our way through the rough terrain. However, the reason why we seek, the justification for the deeper questions has always been that we are pushed out of spaces and places where we belong.

Yet, how many would really understand that they have been pushed out of their bodies through some of the very same actions that they repetitively do each and every day? What sort of pattern have we found ourselves in that would create such a thing as to internally separate us body from mind from soul?

But, alas that is exactly how things are in this world and we, those of us who are searching for something better and much more - must pull back from ways and means of self depletion and sabotage (which can arrive from any direction).

I have heard it said that today's children spend more time out of their bodies than in them and that this is just the way things are. Of course this thinking is flawed, if you are spending time out of your body, instead of seeking ways to get better acquainted with it then you are leaving yourself wide open for harm.

Our bodies are the temples of god/soul/spirit/self (insert your own word here) and this is our only home. Any space or place that we are pushed out of creates a place of darkness, filled up with energy that doesn't belong and on a physical level becomes a potential inflammation.

I have long said that if you are not living in your body, then someone/something else is. Once you move out of a space a vacuum is created and some other vibration will take up residence. Making changes and taking back your body is vital and will be life changing.

Some of the ways that I have found effective to re-gaining ground in the body/mind/spirit are;

1.  Master Cleanses and Detox

The best, fastest and easiest way to gain ground quickly into my body, mind and soul is through doing these Master Cleanses which pull out the toxins that create negativity, stress and fear within my body. This takes time and effort, but is so gentle that I keep coming back to these methods time and again.

2.  Pure diet

This is a long term strategy of day by day raising my vibration from the inside out using organic, clean foods which are unprocessed, home cooked and nourishing. Of course there are certain groups of foods that I do not consume, but that is another post!

3. Clean water

Water is the fundamental element that our bodies cannot do without and which transports consciousness throughout our bodies - cell to cell. This water must be unaltered, directly from the earth and free of chemicals. I cannot stress this enough.

4. Exercise

Any form of movement as physical activity is grounding and helps to keep me centered. I love how I feel after any exercise and often use it in short bursts to boost creativity or to help work through some issue.

5. Using herbs as medicine

Herbs are the intended medicine for our bodies as they do not interfere with delicate body functions or processes and leave us cleanly having only assisted or supported the body through an illness or change. And they are safe to use for many different reasons especially as teas in water, uplifting and aligning us with nature and higher consciousness.

6. Nature (walking, hiking etc.)

Getting outside into nature or just walking around the block is all about connecting with the earth, feet onto the ground and coming back into our natural environment. I walk when I need to think or feel out of sorts (ungrounded) and just to feel apart of the earth's cycles and rhythms.

7. Ceremony and Ritual

For far too long I was removed from any form of ritual or ceremony and had felt that it was not that necessary in my life. Over these years of walking the path however, especially since having my children, I have come back to these as formal rites that connect my physical being to nature or the overall bigger picture and my part in it. Besides, as part of The Pagan Diet, celebration and following the path of the sun is a key element to living a full life!

8. Removing negative situations

By this I mean removing myself from situations and relationships that serve to pull me down or distract me from my own personal goals. My family and my dreams or the things I want to achieve in this life come first for me and I do not feel comfortable when something interferes with this. As well, when our attention is taken away from the things that matter - the result is stress, worry and fear. These are not welcome on the path and must be dealt with for the impostors that they are.

9. Closing Energy Leaks(c)

Years ago I developed this energy technique mainly as a means of healing my own energy field but also to gain additional insight into what was happening within and how these energetic patterns were affecting my body, mind and soul. Since then I have taught this to thousands and I continue to see its' many benefits daily.

10. Following your dreams

This might be the method of gaining ground that takes into account each of the above, as your dreams are all that you really have and are a living part of you within your imagination. I dream a lot and would consider myself a 'dreamer' - at times they are all that I have been able to hold onto and have kept me going through the rough patches. Never, ever, give up on a dream.

~~~
When you are able to put into practice as much as possible each of these on a daily basis and being to break down the old patterns that have held you back - you will gain ground back into your precious body. The secret here is that everything that is important takes place in the body, with you in it, this is  home.
Have a lovely day,
April
